Just as the stockpile of home essentials I bought last Prime Day was looking a little sparse, a new Amazon Prime Day — a.k.a. this year’s Prime Big Deal Days — has officially arrived. This time around, the deals will run for only two days (as opposed to the near-weeklong event last July), which means all these discounts on Strategist-approved items will expire at the end of the day. So far, I’ve been impressed by the healthy crop of marked-down cold-weather skin-care essentials, including our favoriteheavy-duty hand creamandlotion for sensitive skin. Deals I personally think are the best
I’m particularly impressed by the deals in the beauty and wellness categories, many of which are historically big discounts on rarely on sale items. At the moment, the unusually deep discounts on two of our favorite eye creams — Sunday Riley’s depuffing one and our Best in Class pick from Revision Skincare — have my attention. A 50 percent markdown on First Aid Beauty’s oil control moisturizer was enough to convince me to give it a try — it’s already on the way — and I’m tempted to finally buy myself a Brooklinen robe, which hasn’t dropped below $80 all year (and has increased to a hefty $109 at full price). I also spotted our favorite protein powder for athletes at its lowest price since 2022.
