If you have dry or color-treated hair, the Television line is for you. Both the shampoo and conditioner contain juniper berry, glycerin, and babassu-seed oil, all of which are moisturizing and good for keeping scalp oils balanced. They’re also UV protective to minimize the moisture loss and damage UV rays can have on hair strands.

The Dallas thickening shampoo “works magic” on fine hair and gives “bombshell volume” when blow-drying, according to salon owner Fred Connors. (He says it has a “heavenly scent,” too.)

Our favorite conditioner for thick hair is another recommendation from Fritzler, who says, as thicker hair formulas go, R+Co’s Atlantis is quite lightweight. Its main ingredient is provitamin B5, which nourishes the hair follicle (and can encourage the hair to grow). It also contains maracuja-seed and açai-fruit oils, which soften the hair, add shine, and control frizz.
