Buckle up: It’s the final day ofPrime Day, and I’m here to be your guide. I’ve been covering Prime Day (and October Prime Day) since 2022, so I know when something is truly a good deal and when you’re better off waiting for Black Friday. And as a Strategist writer, I know when a product is up to snuff (as do my fellow writers and the experts they trust).

This year, the best deals are in the “truly useful stuff” category.Thermacell’s mosquito-repelling orb(which writer Kat Gillespie says actually works) is also at one of the best discounts I’ve seen, at 40 percent off for the 5.5-hour version. An untinted sunscreen from EltaMD is 20 percent off, so it’s a good time to stock up. As for the fun stuff, I spotted jelly fisherman sandals and Samsung’s Frame TV for the best prices they’ve been all year. Plus, Revlon’s cult-y blow-dryer brush is a whopping 60 percent off.

It’s lightweight, quick-drying, has an SPF of 50, and is particularly great for people with oily skin thanks to its whisper-thin finish. Twenty percent off is a fairly standard discount, but it’s rare enough that it’s worth taking advantage of now if you need to restock.
